Is it my duty in life to promise you
That if you ever even thought of not pulling through
I'd simply snap my fingers and you'd be gone in a flash
With not another thought towards the aftermath?
Like a fleck of dust hiding in a distant room
Simply dead and gone with a flick of the broom
Like locked memories of the past, you will NEVER be back
If I ever catch you signing the Devil's contract!
Puh-lease, no more lies- pack your things and leave
Are your force-fed excuses what you expect me to believe?
You do not have an alibi for where you were last night
As it is right now, you are not putting up a fight!
If you love me, do not lie- with each lie, I love you less
You are practically the face of Infidelity's crest
So get out of my house, you wretched little dog
I hope I hear a scream from the Dirty Liar's Fog...

Words Of Forbidden Sin (Poem)
Do not speak the words of forbidden sin
For the devils inside will crawl within
‘I love you’ is the curse I do not want to hear
Love is the only one thing that I fear
The darkness can be turned into soothing light
Blind ones can be capable of prophetic sight
Sunlight can seep through a miniature crack
But love can be taken, and never given back.
Do not speak the words that kill me inside
For when you do, its tears that I hide
I know how it hurts when I don’t return the words
But I whispered the curse as we followed the hearse
You’ve done everything for me- from birth, throughout
Yet our quarrels do nothing but fill me with doubt
And though it scares me to let my feelings through
The truth is, inside, you know I love you.

Curses
Curse your heart for being a part
Of the smirking demons behind
You were not to be trusted, from the start
But I thought second chances were kind.
Curse your soul for all that you stole
Including my splintered heart
You took the stake from out of my hold
And plunged it, deep and hard.
Curse your brain for cries in vain
Forgotten the night after dark
You left my life in shards of pain
And left once you’d played the part.
Curse your head for leaving me dead
Without a burial of love
You were the light, but I misread
A test from the hands of above.
Of the smirking demons behind
You were not to be trusted, from the start
But I thought second chances were kind.
Curse your soul for all that you stole
Including my splintered heart
You took the stake from out of my hold
And plunged it, deep and hard.
Curse your brain for cries in vain
Forgotten the night after dark
You left my life in shards of pain
And left once you’d played the part.
Curse your head for leaving me dead
Without a burial of love
You were the light, but I misread
A test from the hands of above.

Liquid Sorrow (poem)
There was once a time I told myself
I was happy in the body that held me
Yet I have long learnt that you cannot
Deceive a prisoner free
Skin is only coverage, after all
Scars- only foreplay to flesh
Though I have long learnt that the further you fall
The larger the scarlet-clad mess
And if you tell yourself that today
Is simply tomorrow’s foreplay
Then feel your veins fill with liquid sorrow
Because the reality is there’s no tomorrow
For you, or for me because we
would have to be
Happy in the skin that hides us
Content
with the
luxury
of life.
I was happy in the body that held me
Yet I have long learnt that you cannot
Deceive a prisoner free
Skin is only coverage, after all
Scars- only foreplay to flesh
Though I have long learnt that the further you fall
The larger the scarlet-clad mess
And if you tell yourself that today
Is simply tomorrow’s foreplay
Then feel your veins fill with liquid sorrow
Because the reality is there’s no tomorrow
For you, or for me because we
would have to be
Happy in the skin that hides us
Content
with the
luxury
of life.
